Biography
Born in Trutnov, studied chemistry on University of Pardubice where he decided that his biggest hobby will be Photography and especially the heme "Woman". He shoots portraits, but mainly nudes.

The Jan Mlčoch´s photographs are the reflections of his way began 5 years ago. Basic format of his work is roll film 6x6 on which there is brought to living basic human feeling and desire. Most of them are born in absolute darkness by using of long time exposition and a small moving source of light. There are common scenes recovered in the way, that opens our imagination and are walking with us through the mystical valley. The sence of mistery, sexual tension are the basic elements of his work which allows us to dream.

The lovers: Yes it is all about photos in that I want to present the passion during the act of love among Man and Woman, Woman and Woman, Man and Man. This is about several certain pairs of lovers.
The Nudes: I left classical nude just because I wanted to find my own way which would lead my photographs to be surely recognised in those tons of pictures that are everyday to be seen on the internet and galleries. Wanted to be different.
